Illustrative sample · Fictional business
An inquiry.
A missing handoff.
This is a fictional example, not a customer case study or evidence of results.
The form accepts a request. Nobody owns the next step.
In this example, the submission lands in a shared inbox without a named reviewer or follow-up date. The confirmation says “received,” but there is no delivery receipt from the inbox provider.
A screen message does not establish delivery.
We would need an authorized synthetic submission and matching provider receipt to verify the handoff. We cannot infer missed leads, sales impact, or response time from page appearance.
Make the handoff explicit.
Assign a reviewer, record received time, and require provider acknowledgement before showing success. Preserve an unsent request when the provider fails.
Prove the ordinary case and the failure.
- A test inquiry creates exactly one review item.
- The assigned reviewer sees the item and its due time.
- A simulated provider timeout shows a recoverable error.
- A retry does not create a duplicate.
- An export preserves the request and its status.
Implementation estimate follows access and system review. No numerical revenue forecast is inferred from this example.
