Loop Gateway
AI models, paid in sats.
What it does
One OpenAI-compatible endpoint, api.loopxxi.com/v1/chat/completions, for 440 AI models. You pay per call in sats over Lightning using L402. An unpaid call returns HTTP 402 with a Lightning invoice. The test model is 1 sat. Pay the invoice, and the call goes through. Or top up prepaid Lightning credit (minimum 5,000 sats). No account, no card, no subscription.
Why humans need it
- Use AI without handing over a card, an email or an identity.
- Pay only for what you use, in sats, from your own wallet.
Why agents need it
- An agent can't open an account or hold a card. It can hold sats and pay an invoice.
- The balance is the spending limit; a payment is final once it settles.
- Standard L402 discovery at api.loopxxi.com/.well-known/l402 and an OpenAI-compatible API, so existing clients only change the base URL to api.loopxxi.com/v1.
